Mr. Tim Case

I grew up in a Christian home and have been a follower of Christ since I was eight years old. After completing high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I served for four years. Following my military service, I began a 34-year career with Shell Oil in California, working as a systems administrator. During that time, I married, raised two wonderful children, and enjoyed a fulfilling career. In 2011, I faced the difficult loss of my wife, but God blessed me with another chance at companionship, and I remarried. In 2014, I retired to focus on studying the Bible and pursuing biblical counseling, seeking to serve others more intentionally through ministry.

My journey with health challenges began in 1978 when a viral infection severely damaged my kidneys. By 1998, my kidneys were no longer functional, and I relied on dialysis for four years before my sister generously donated a kidney to me, a gift that greatly improved my quality of life. While my health is generally good today, I face limitations on where I can travel due to a compromised immune system. Despite these challenges, my commitment to serving God's people has never wavered.

In July 2020, my path took an unexpected but life-changing turn. I received a message on Facebook from Tugume Alex, a Ugandan civil engineer who had lost his government job and was struggling to care for 30 orphans. At first, I was skeptical and intended to dismiss his request. But as I was reading Job 29:16—"I was a father to the needy, and I investigated the case I didn’t know"—I felt convicted to truly investigate his situation instead of rushing to judgment. With the Lord’s guidance, I connected with local contacts to learn more, and soon after, I found myself working alongside Alex.

In January 2022, I sent my son and a close friend to Uganda to meet with the people on the ground and assess the situation firsthand. Their visit confirmed the sincerity of Alex’s mission, and we began to deepen our partnership. Today, my church, FocalPoint Bible Church, is formally involved in supporting Passionate Hearts Ministries. Together, we are feeding over 300 orphans every month, providing Bibles, and supporting education and vocational training to uplift vulnerable children and their communities.

As the patron of Passionate Hearts Ministries, I am passionate about using my resources, time, and biblical knowledge to make a lasting impact. I now deliver Bible teachings through Zoom to four Passionate Hearts churches monthly, and I look forward to seeing how God continues to open doors for our work.

Pr. Agaba Fred

Pr. Agaba Fred

I am Pr. Agaba Fred, a proud Munyankole born in 1971 in Rutooma village, Kashaari, Mbarara district. As the firstborn of a polygamous family, my early life was shaped by adversity. My father, Yosia Bamutunga, a dedicated headteacher at Rutooma Primary School, had six daughters with his first wife before I was born. My arrival was significant, as my father cherished the son he had longed for, naming me Agaba, meaning “God has provided.” Growing up amidst the challenges of an extended family and facing mistreatment from my stepmothers and elder siblings, I found myself on a difficult path.

Tragedy struck when I lost my mother in 1987 and my father in 1989, leaving me in a precarious situation during my studies. With no school fees and struggling with mistreatment, I fled to the streets of Kampala, where a kind stranger introduced me to the Cornerstone Development Agency. There, I worked tirelessly as a shamba boy, saving to support my siblings' education. My hard work paid off, allowing me to start a milk vending business in Kampala.

In 1998, I married my wife, Annet Agaba, a journalist, and together we built a life filled with love and purpose, raising seven children: Agabo Shemei, Nagaba Shemekar, Agaba Shemus Isaac, Shelomith Blessing, Shemaiah Isaiah, Shemron Israel, and Shemrith Favour Kusasira. On February 6, 2000, we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior at Nsambya Deliverance Church, where we served for six years.

In 2007, we felt a calling to return to Bwizibwera to establish a ministry, leaving behind city life to serve our community. Today, I lead the Bwizibwera Wall of Fire Church, where we support orphans, school dropouts, and vulnerable families, embodying my passion for uplifting those in need.

Eng. Tugume Alex

Eng. Tugume Alex

My name is Eng. Tugume Alex, born in 1990 in Rushaayo, Nyakishana, Buhweju, a beautiful hilly district in the Ankole region. As the eleventh child in a family of fourteen, I faced challenges early on when my father, a polygamist, passed away when I was just four years old. My education journey was uncertain, but my mother persevered to support my primary education. With the help of benefactors from the UK, I was able to attend secondary school and later pursued a Diploma in Civil Engineering at Uganda Engineering Military College, Lugazi.

Witnessing my mother's struggles fueled my passion for helping others, particularly those in need. In my village, I saw countless families facing poverty, and I felt a deep desire to make a difference. As I began to earn a living, I dedicated a portion of my income to supporting needy children with food and clothing.

I am happily married to Nimusiima Flavia, and together we have two children. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at Kabale University. My ultimate dream is to establish an orphanage, providing a loving home and support for children who have long missed out on the comfort and care they deserve.

Pr. Bakehena Amos

I am Pr. Bakehena Amos, born in 1947 into a polygamous family. Losing my mother at the tender age of three, I faced the challenges of orphanhood, living with my aunts for six years before starting school. My educational journey began at Katebe Primary School, where I walked over 16 km daily.

After completing primary education in 1962, I moved on to Ibanda for junior secondary school. Faced with financial constraints, I worked to support myself, fetching water for residents after school. Despite the struggles, I persevered and eventually joined Radio Uganda in 1969 as a technical assistant.

In 1972, I married Jovia Bakamwoga, and together we raised four boys and three girls, though we faced the heartbreak of losing some children. In 2019, I married Pastor Annet Kentaro, and together we serve at Runengo Full Gospel Church, where I am currently the Senior Pastor.

My educational background spans various institutions, culminating in a Grade V Teachers Diploma and a rich career in teaching and broadcasting. I am deeply committed to serving others in my golden years and sharing the love of Christ.
