Kyarimpa Gawudensio, a 38-year-old widow, faced seemingly insurmountable challenges after her husband's untimely passing. Left alone to care for seven children, Kyarimpa struggled with the harsh realities of providing basic necessities. Without steady income, she was forced to rent accommodation that strained her limited resources, whilst watching her children's educational opportunities slip away as she could no longer afford school fees.
"Before Passionate Hearts Ministries stepped in, I lived in constant worry," Kyarimpa shared. "My children had dropped out of school, we often went without proper meals, and the burden of monthly rent payments felt overwhelming."

When we learned that she had received a plot of land from her father but lacked the resources to build on it, we mobilised support from our community of givers. Together, we constructed a sturdy brick home with a metal roof that has freed Kyarimpa from the burden of rental payments and provided her family with stability and security for the first time since her husband's passing.
Beyond providing shelter, we have ensured that her family receives regular food supplies, addressing their most urgent need. Additionally, we successfully returned two of her children to school, giving them the opportunity to pursue education that will empower their future.
